Order.co is thrilled to announce that Alec Stonitsch has been named the new Vice President of Product, Payments & Integrations. Formerly the Director of Product, Stonitsch’s new role will see him driving efforts to optimize the payment experience while advancing integrations and payment infrastructure.

About Alec Stonitsch

Alec’s journey with Order.co began in 2018 as one of the first hires. Over the past 6+ years, he’s played a pivotal role in ensuring that customers receive the best possible experience when using the platform.

In his first role as the Chief of Staff, Alec managed numerous responsibilities, with a primary focus on leading the operations team. In his next position as Director of Strategic Finance, he managed the operating model and profit & loss statements, reporting to investors along the way.

Fast forward to three and a half years ago, he landed in his most recent role as Director of Product. In this position, Alec’s priority was to improve Order.co’s payments functionality and build out accounting and custom ERP integrations. One example of this is his role in establishing a credit offering allowing customers to take advantage of flexible payment options. As a result, users can maintain a more predictable cash flow and boost operational efficiency.

Major accomplishments in product growth

In Alec’s previous position as Director of Product, he played an instrumental role in launching new accounting integrations to centralize bookkeeping, payments, and reporting for multi-entity and single-entity businesses. This integration created a direct connection with leading accounting platforms like QuickBooks Online, Oracle NetSuite, and Sage Intacct to ensure that businesses could map invoices and pre-coded spend data with ease.

This accounting integration came loaded with benefits, including:

  • Automatically coded transactions that reduced chances of human error
  • More reliable financial reporting and analysis capabilities
  • Intuitive setup process without hours of hands-on customer support
  • Optimized financial management and accounting processes

Another major milestone in Alec’s tenure as Director of Product was the launch of “Integrated Search” within Workday. This direct integration with Workday Procurement allows customers to seamlessly initiate purchase orders through Order.co, expediting their entire procurement process. Once implemented, customers can purchase everything they need for any supplier directly within the Workday portal.

Here are just a few of the benefits that the Workday integration offers customers:

  • Automated vendor onboarding and access to 25,000+ pre-built supplier catalogs
  • Eliminated confusion about which suppliers to use and where to punch out
  • Cost savings powered by Order.co’s AI technology
  • Automatically generated requisitions for enhanced spending control

Both the accounting and Workday integrations helped position Order.co as the most streamlined purchasing experience on the market. With these integrations and countless other innovative product updates, it’s clear to see how Alec has made a substantial impact on the end-to-end payment experience.

What’s next?

Looking towards the future, Alec is dedicated to making the Order.co platform even more intuitive for users. A major focus will be on enhancing the proprietary consolidated invoicing feature. Invoice processing can be tedious and overwhelming, especially when dealing with multiple vendors. But with one consolidated bill, businesses can:

  • Drastically decrease invoice reconciliation time
  • Eliminate manual expense coding and avoid errors
  • Increase spend visibility with granular analytics
  • Maintain a consistent, predictable cash flow
  • Access extended net terms with all vendors

With all of these incredible benefits already available to streamline business operations, Order.co looks forward to showcasing how Alec will spearhead even more time-saving feature rollouts. Gone are the days when manual invoice payments led to late, missed, or duplicate payments and resulting fees.

Another upcoming project that Alec will take on in his new role is rebuilding the Invoice Payment page to improve ease of use. Look out for future announcements to discover how Order.co is making payment processes more efficient than ever!

“Alec’s deep understanding of the complex payments landscape, in tandem with his unique institutional knowledge of the business, will enable Order.co to accelerate innovation around our embedded payments products while meaningfully improving the experience for our customers,” said Zach Garippa, CEO & Co-Founder.
